Looking back after losing my grandparents and parents, I have so many regrets about questions I didn't ask and stories I didn't really listen to.
Recently, by honoring my own grandfather’s story, I was reminded of how powerful personal history can be.

Why It Matters
Stories are more than memories — they’re the threads that connect generations. When we capture a person’s life in their own words, we preserve their laughter, their lessons, their courage, and the love that shaped our family. Too often these stories fade with time, leaving gaps where connection could have been.
By recording them now, we give future generations a gift:
a sense of belonging, identity, and understanding of where they come from.
